It took me several mths to chase them for the sales agreement and receipt for the car and COE deposit. All in electronic form as them claimed that they were going electronic. (Just sharing).
I too had the "paper sales contract" which turn out to be a booking form without their signature.

Anyway, hope your car arrives soon.

Rgds.

@benoit16 Congratulations on the new car, sadly, there is no news for mine.

I've been on their back, and all I got is that there is no scheduled delivery for the GT model. My COE will expire on end Dec.
I guess I have to loon till it comes, no way out. Their terms are unreasonable.

Fortunately this will be the last car I will buy from this company.

I trade my lexus. They freeze the deal which is ok, deal i got for the car is still good.

Thanks the advise.

Oh? C&C quite stingy one leh... loaner car not so likely... Booking form not equal a purchase contract... so they can play hard ball with you...

@teomingern,

You are correct with the way C&C do business. I think all the AD have to the same way of conducting their selling methods and booking/purchase contract.

I reviewed my contract closely, we the Singapore buyers squeezed by the B's. One main point to note for buyers, is the date they give is not binding, which means that they can delay (regardless of manufacturer or dealer ability to deliver) with no financial lost to them but the buyer if decide to pull out.

Anyway, this time with my constant pushing them, they decided to release the demo model to me with a comfortable discount. I decided because they still have no ETA of the car, not even by the first quarter next year, also understand that they have 2/3  buyers for the GT (3.3 Lit) version on order after mine. I guess if they check with their salesman, the answer will likely be "No manufacture slots".

My COE will expire end of this month if not registered. Guess little choice, else wait long long long ..

Just sharing for all to be aware.

Cheers.😞😞😞

Actually not really. By bidding the coe on your behalf they take the risk. Who asked them to bid so early. If you are willing to wait, for sure you will get the car. They will have to negotiate with LTA on the extension of the coe validity. Or bid for a new coe if yours is a guaranteed one.

Wished the salesman had given the same picture as you stated, I guess I would have waited. However, with no light on when the car will be available, I took the apple in hand better than 2 in the bushes.😏😏

Good information to know for future purchases. Thanks 🙏

mine is Cat B (guaranteed COE), validated on the LTA site.

Wah... See what stunt C&C can pull if it's close to registration limit for the COE...
