Based on paper spec stinger clock in 5s and arteon 5.6s

also arteon tech is similar to the one found in audi and porsche, very worth every penny and of course in sg vw badge still perceived better than kia although vw is just ppl car in germany.

in term of interior stinger interior feel less solid, try to shake the centre console and its very wobbly. Also Arteon comes with virtual cockpit and spacious seat and boot. And transmission probably vw DQ381 wet 7 speed much more responsive and quicker.

actually to me arteon is overpriced, the same for stinger.

i think arteon is more luxurious while stinger is more sporty to drive. focus quite different, though both are big 4 door coupes with powerful engines

so depends which one u prefer....sporty drive or luxurious interior

Thanks all Bros for the reply!

yes, I understand that badge factor will not be as high, but i prefer to have more value for money vehicle. Went to test drive e200 and 520i before and the power is lacking so much from the f10 that the difference is night and day. Personally I feel that no point showing nice car to others when own enjoyment for power and driving dynamics is not there. That’s why I liked the stinger.

as for the badge, I think I have already enjoyed the conti badge factor enough for past years so for this car if the badge not great it’s not a big deal.

and yes, I’m referring to the 3.3 V6 and will compare to the Arteon, though from what I read it’s a smaller engine.

Why do you want to sell F10 535?

I feel that in terms of bang-for-bucks at $200K region, nothing beats the Stinger. It also has lots of street presence with its long, low and wide stance.

If you were a Stinger V6 driver, and you were hanging out in a pub with the boys, and they are all driving 520i and E200 and A6, I know who is the one to respect. 😉

My sentiments exactly.

One is a driver. The others are merely commuters. (Unless the bimmer is a manual, then that's a driver right there).

Generally la. Usually spend about 2-3k a year on repairs which seems less that other 335 n 535 bros spending when it gets old.

Bro if you want manual bimmer in sg, performance motors requires at least 6 months waiting time. Even Munich autos don’t stock any manual inventory.
I remember a very long time ago I drove a friends e36 320i feeling is shiok to the max

Stinger GT is 4.9s. Going by paper, since it's a paper to paper comparison. It's been clocked faster in the real world.

4.9 vs 5.6, I would definitely be able to tell the difference, having driven sub 3, 3 to 4, 4 to 5, 5 to 6 and 6+ second cars.

Yeah, as far as badge goes, I don't really care what Sinkies obsess over anyway, so...

Anyway to each his own. I know which one I'd pick.

My 1L motorcycle is 2.8 seconds on paper.

Just saying. [flowerface]

You may wish to wait abit longer. Kia will update the Stinger quite abit this year as a 2021 model.

Current 3.3L tuning is still not adequate against much more expensive Germans counterparts. So Kia needs to turn up the heat more

Haha thanks bro. 👍🏼

I mean, I believe aftermarket tuning can easily push current model to over 400 hp crank, so it's not that big a deal. But good they're upping the power. Make it closer to being an M3 rival.

Between these 2, my pick will be the Arteon as I feel it’s a better overall package. Digital cockpit, big sunroof, better interior build quality. The power and torque is attractive but so far, the fastest car I had owned is a 0-100kmh 6.7s Passat. I would like to slowly progress to 5+Sec then 4+sec as continual improvement. 🙂  however, the most attractive part that attracts me in the Arteon has to be the frameless door window.  Feels like a sports car.
