saw a stinger at bukit batok, very nice indeed, but cant tell if its a 2.0 or 3.3

The quite obvious feature difference would be the Brembo brakes other than the GT-Line vs the GT badge at the rear.

The trend has shifted to electrification and hybrids.

Sedans are not ideal to place large battery packs.

Bye bye Stinger.

The Stinger may not be around for much longer. It is not a money making model for the Hyundai group. And worse of all, its not a SUV., so poor sales

Actually why don't Hyundai group install the 3.3L in the Sportage or Sorento? At least sales will be great

They have it in the Genesis

That model is even more of a tough sell than Stinger world wide. Prices are even higher.

If only Hyundai group can install the 3.3L V6 into the Stonic😍 That would the ideal SUV to have. Thats the kind of firepower anyone would like to have

Ya... at least put the GT-Line engine inside the Sorento...

Not enough torque to move that 2 ton Sorento. The 2.2L CRDi offers 440NM of torque which is just nice for the Sorento.

So the 3.3L V6 510NM of torque would be an ideal upgrade

New colour for the GT to replace the bumblebee yellow.

anyone knows if there’s anything new? Is it considered a facelift?

Nice colour! Might go down to have a look since it's near my office. I think recent YouTube videos had reviews on Stinger GTS; wonder it this is the one..

You can lowball the seller to sell at scrap plus 10k... since that's the kind of price he will get from any used car dealer... prob even less.

And his Stinger will be on sale well into the end of next year. :D

I won’t lowball anyone cos I hate to be lowballed.

twin smaller volume turbochargers are generally more efficient than a single large turbine.

There's inherently less turbo lag since the smaller turbines has smaller inertia and requires less energy to turn itself over. And since each volume is smaller, it can reach max compression much quicker than a single large turbo unit.

Superchargers are diff ball game though.

Most V6/V8 use twin-turbo for packaging purpose. They have 2 banks of 3 cylinders each side it is very difficult to pipe both banks of exhaust to a single turbocharger and then drive the boost from into both cylinder banks again. Having 1 small turbo for each cylinder bank is so much easier to design.

For BMW IL6 engines, having single turbo is easy as it only has 1 bank of exhaust and intake. Simplier, lighter and cheaper.

Not lowball, just offer what is reasonable.

It is crazy asking price, straight line depreciation. Might as well buy new.
