I'm sure they do... but they just don't care... they just want to go faster... what to do???

Just offering an alternative view.

Do we know for sure that he is just tailgating just because, or should we give him the benefit of the doubt that he really needs to get some place as soon as he can, even if there is only a 0.1% chance of it actually being true?

Do you really want to be that person who causes the other party to lose whatever he stands to lose, because "aiyah so urgent he would have set off earlier what!" or "i also at the speed limit already!!"?

I feel, as long as it is safe to move over to the left and give way, i believe its the safer option. Just that its the option that does not usually sit well with the egos between the steering wheel and driver's seat.

Another topic similar to "pumping petrol in jb got savings or not" - to each its own.

The argument between speeding and tailgating is almost a never ending circle. As much as possible I try to keep to the 2nd lane where there isn't much drama .

I should say after driving in the Middle east for a few years gave me a phobia of the fast lane...with those big land cruisers and lights flashing faster than emergency vehicles, I dare not stay in the fastest lane (left most) for what is more than necessary.

The habit phobia has served me well so far even after leaving the middle east.

Speeding or not, we are not law enforcer and we should not judge or purposely stay in the overtaking lane because we are “within speed limit”

Everyone has the right to drive at the speed they need to meet their commitments and of course to take full accountability if something happens. As driver, I am not to prevent them from reaching their destination or do what they need to do faster.

Drivers need to to aware in the opinion of the tailgater, the car in front is a road hogger.

Pls don't assume that in front of a tailgater, is always a road hogger. Sometimes yes, but not always.

For me, it's very simple. If there is a significantly clear road ahead of me, and there is a car right behind me, then I am hogging the lane.

It doesn't matter which lane I am in, or if it's an expressway or a multi-lane road, or if I am travelling at 50kmh or 180kmh. I will either speed up, or if I am not inclined to, switch to the left lane to allow the car behind to pass me.

Nice lar bro!

Just wanted to ask:

The GT badge at the bottom of the steering wheel is original or you stick on?

The floor mat with the Stinger word is original or you made? If original, the quality is good or like the standard mats found in the Cerato or K5?

Sad to say: the two switch stalks look identical to my Sonata's... and the steering wheel controls - are these the same as the K5?

Thanks bro! [bounce2]

just answering on behalf.

GT/GT-line badge on steering wheel is stock (comes like that).

Floor mat is given by SE (unless you didn't request and SE stinged on it)... so should be standard quality, definitely not as good as 3M.

GT badge on bottom of steering wheel: Stock

Floor mats: SE provided.. 3A quality, good enough. I did custom boot piece with Stinger logo too.

Lastly, a lot of car brands share parts across the range.. not surprising, even for KIA/Hyundai group. Not like I feel the constant need to differentiate the Stinger from the pack.

If I'm not wrong, new K3 using the same centre dash touchscreen as 2019 MY Stinger. Signal stock likely same also. The matt silver finish door handles too  [laugh]

But the flat bottom steering wheel with perforated leather is unique to the Stinger within KIA (for now) (lower trim Stinger overseas gets normal steering wheel).

Kia designed this E logo to show what the Stinger represents: Engineered by Excellence, Exclusive, Exquisite, Evolutionary

just like we can slap a ///M, AMG and S-Line badge to a standard offering simply putting 1 or 2 option inside ... lol

"Kia designed this E logo to show what the Stinger represents: Engineered by Excellence, Exclusive, Exquisite, Evolutionary."

I replaced the following:

Front bonnet KIA emblem

Rear boot KIA emblem (now replaced by big Stinger script emblem)

Wheels KIA badge x4

Steering wheel KIA badge

If I'm not wrong, in Korea, their Stingers get the E logo.
