U need to rush for reunion dinner in KL?

5am maybe jam as many people travel to Malaysia for reunion dinner.

If u can take leave on Thursday, better depart by Thursday afternoon.

No rushing la ... just want to avoid the jam .

Every CNY eve, i set off from SG into Malaysia at 430am.. then come back 2 days OR 1 day after school start to avoid the masses of cars..

Normally, at 5am, can clear both side within 1hr.. It's the night before which is madness..

yeah.. always do that..

the downside of this, is when the clock hit 4 or 5am, tend to feel sleepy..

and when it hit 7am, usually will be at the R&R sleeping or catching some winks..

if given a choice, I also don't want to drive that far..

imagine from sg to perak..

damn shag

Most will think the same. What about flying there? Less stress?

Agree, why not fly there and rent a car from airport to commute to the place you want. After all, driving a malaysian plate car makes you less of a target of car theft or even worse car robbery.

(edited)

No brainer to take flights and transfer to rental car , just calculate the time and the cost you need just to go to KL when traveling with 3 children . I am quite curious that is it your normal arrangement when you go over or you never been bolehland before ?

Have another driver to take over the wheels at midpoint or stop over a night in KL.

Flight fee [sweatdrop]  expensive during CNY, somemore rental during CNY lagi teruk...who ever can fly and rent during festive season must have tonnes of money to spare... :a-bang:

Which part of Perak, dude? Ipoh? Drove to Ipoh during last December, we stopped over at Putrajaya for a night, nice and quiet neighbourhood, so you may consider that. No need to drive into KL so can avoid the traffic.
