Atonchia Supersonic January 3, 2017 Share January 3, 2017 Ah..... wonder today's kids know this comic or not. Or is it now uncles nostalgia liao. ... Icons of my youth dying off. .. Kids now only knowDora, bubbles guppies, monster machine, paw patrol. Last time also have Peanuts comic strip. Then when primary school is Tin Tin. But only LFZ was funny & comical. And amazingly, I can understand the humour as a young kid before I learnt to read text.
Benarsenal Turbocharged January 3, 2017 Share January 3, 2017 2017's first victim. But at least he lived to a ripe old age. I used to read Lao Fu Zi a lot when I was a kid also. Sometimes I don't understand the Chinese 'fan ti' (Traditional) words, but I can more or less guess from his drawings. He brought plenty of joy to many people. Truly a great man.

Carbon82 Moderator January 4, 2017 Share January 4, 2017 (edited) This thread seems to be for uncles (and aunties) like us... I enjoyed reading 老夫子 so much that I can forgo watching nice movies during CNY gathering at relative's place during my younger days. And reading his comic is just like watching Charlie Chaplin and Mr. Bean, you will laugh out from the heart. Sad to hear about his passing. A great man of his own.
