Sorry to dig this thread up.

 

Just installed a brand new KR6-2CH.

Was find for 2 days then suddenly my rear camera cannot be detected thru the app. No blinking blue light also.

 

Front is okay and recording as per normal.

 

Any suggestion guys?

Just contact them directly. Mine so far so good.

Maybe your rear camera is faulty, get them to check and rectify for you since you just got it.

Hi bro

I did a hard reset and format the sdcard.

 

Now cam working fine already.

 

Anyway , what's the best setting for the camera ?

Brightness

Contrast

Could you help me understand how the rear cam works?

1. Does it records as like front cam throughout whole journey when driving?

2. Or only starts recording when triggered at parked mode?

I find most video clips for front cam, unable to find rear cam video clip in folders directory.

Could kindly enlighten me, thank you 🙂

YES

2. Or only starts recording when triggered at parked mode?
NO. It works exactly like your front camera. Record in all the modes: Driving/ Event/ Parking

Are you able to see the videos from the device itself? You can tap on the screen to make both front and rear view showed on the monitor.
If you take out the SD card, you should see AviFileConverter.exe 
Extract the files out to AVI format. You should see for example: 20160217_023310_I_A & 20160217_023310_I_B
A is the video footage for front camera and B for rear.

If you still cant see any rear camera footage, it might be faulty rear unit.

The hidden feature "tap and hold on,  on the download icon" to view both cam video files were the missed on this step with the phone app. (Android)

Now I able to view all video clips front and rear.

Appreciate all inputs and reply.
