Kb27 Supersonic December 5, 2016 Share December 5, 2016 Actually the above cleaner is just NaHC03, can't see how it can be better than bleach. Other than it being an easy to apply form. I google NAHCO3, it's sodium bicarbonate. That means it's baking powder. Bleach is a weak solution of sodium hypochlorite

Yeah, more alkaline means stronger. Stronger one will be sodium hydroxide, used as in "chemical cleaning" of aircon. But it's not friendly to aluminum fins. Don't touch with bare hand though. A_korusawa 5th Gear December 5, 2016 Share December 5, 2016 On this topic.. How cleaning toilet bowl stains? Used home remedy like baking soda and even coke, didn't work. Mr muscle and the the duck thingy also failed. Only thing that worked back then was the sheet of fine sandpaper and few hours of back breaking sweating.... Now it returns... Any suggestion? I used the MagicClean . . . . Stain & Mold Remover Cleaner ...... white & blue bottle spray bottle sprayed on stains, left to 10-15min before rinse with water . . . . it helps if stubborn stains, you may scrub and spray again, then rinse 10-20min later....

I use the normal bleach to clean my bathroom toilet floor cos ventilation poor and incredible build up of mould/yucky stuff. I wear slippers and keep rinsing my feet like mad. haha don't want to wear PCK boots.

I just grab one of those used but clean plastic shopping bags .eg ntuc or shengshiong, pull it over your hand and you get a free and disposal glove already ! can switch hands easily when tired also.
Billcoke 2nd Gear December 5, 2016 Share December 5, 2016 (edited) anyone uses mr muscle mold and mildew remover for cleaning their toilets ?? this stuff is really potent and easy to use !! just wondering if anyone has other cleaning solutions that are just as good but cheaper ? or maybe home concoctions ? When using Mr Muscles, beware of marbles flooring and table tops, it can dissolve marbles. Magic Clean is actually bleach right? I use NTUC bleach for cleaning toilets, super clean and cheaper too.
