SAF Terrex impounded by HK customs

傳真社引述消息指，12架裝甲車在一艘由高雄駛往新加坡途經香港的貨櫃船上，抵達香港貨櫃碼頭時，本不打算卸貨作轉運或出口，但海關收到線報，調查時發現，暫未有資料顯示該批裝甲車屬於哪個國家出口、貨主的身分和報關內容、及該些軍用物品的目的地為何處

 

Fowarder never declare properly? Need approval from HK even if the cargo is just passing through its ports, right?

Ex Starlight have been going on for many many years, is this the time we are sending back our heavy equipment vis this route ? 

If no, than perhaps there are other reason.

台灣TVBS引述台灣國防部的消息，稱被香港海關扣押的裝甲車，初步了解是新加坡陸軍的AV-81八輪甲車，這批車相信是來台訓練的星光部隊在訓練結束後打算運返新加坡的裝甲車。

 

The vehicles are used in Starlight exercise and are on the way back to Singapore

From latest news, the cargo was unloaded at HK by mistake. Since they were unloaded from the ship, HK customs will definitely check. So Taiwan has to clarify the Terrex are on the way back to SG after Taiwan exercise
