In terms of suburban malls, Parkway should be quite new compared with Thomson Yaohan ?

Ya.  Parkway was a modern suburban shopping mall with Isetan and many popular stall.  Thomson Yaohan has more individual shops.

Most of my secondary and poly days were at Peninsula!!! Upper levels, see and buy jersey. Basement level, see and buy jeans and shoes + soccer boots. Only in Peninsula, can find my size of shoes!!! That time, I am already wearing size US12.

Anyone still remember paying $2 to enter CBD? Those Restricted Area licence?

That is old school ERP in case the boys ask. Haaaa

I only remember that we have to put a monthly label in front of the windscreen (around S$60 per month) when we enter CBD.      Policeman stationed at the a location to spot check.

I also remember these restaurants - Silver Spoon, Dennis, TGIF.  Hotels - Boulevard Hotel, Cockpit Hotel, New Otani, Seaview, Dynasty, Marco Polo and etc.....

What was the hotel near Somerset MRT?  I have forgotten the name.  It had been replaced with 313 Somerset now.
