Can I put my cautionary post here?

2- get a car that you can handle - don't bite more than you can chew - if you have never driven a 4000cc car, don't start now..

If I drive a car with 4,000cc power but not 4,000cc, still can try 4,000cc car?  :a-happy:

Many in this forum have skills and have tried cars twice as powerful but many ordinary Singaporeans drive 1.6l NA cars. Suddenly they are introduced to 4l Holdens and Fords in Oz, big SUVs in USA, and they go nuts..

So be aware of what we can do, and more important, be aware of what we can't handle..  I drove a lovely Nissan QQ 1.6 TDI, lovely drive around Scotland, it's not power and brawn, but my next trip there or to USA, I want a nice car with decent power, not too big (enough for my wife's shopping) and a nice suspension + engine to wipe round the B roads.. Golf GTI or a BMW 320 perhaps?

ahaha bro agreed!

I'm no expert but based on my comparatively little 6 years of driving , I learnt 2 important things

1. Know your driving skill limitations

2. Know the limits of the car you're driving (power, grip, brakes, suspension response)

Staying within those 2 gets you home to your loved ones most of the time (bar unforeseen circumstances). Breach either one (even for just a moment of heroics when you're feeling good), and you might be on your way to meet your maker (be it the one on top or below  [smash] )

P.S F30 320i has a really nice RWD handling balance with enough oomph to thrill but not enough to kill

Drive safe and cheers :D

I don't know... American cars don't impress me that much.. but I guess you don't have much choice..

The only memorable experience was a Corvette Convertible, which they offered me because they didn't have the car I booked. Driving that along the Pacific Highway One with the roof down, a sweet lady next to me, and the Big Sur by my side.... life was good.

Cool technology, in future those who cycle on road recklessly, rode scooter on road, travelling high-speed on e-bikes. No worries, send the video to TP and they will use this new technology to capture the face and determine who is this person and send summon to the person house. No need license plate, as long as can capture the face can already.

When i was 20+ year old uni student in Aust, i always rent Holden Commodore or Ford Falcon for cross country trip.  I have clean record in Aust le.

In USA, must drive topless mustang.

BMW also must be IL6.  If not, waste time.
