dcb Turbocharged November 1, 2016 Share November 1, 2016 Sometimes after the wipers wiped and return, there will be a few patches on the windscreen that is foggy for a few seconds. This is irritating and sometimes block the view on the road. Any idea how to remove that? Also what is a good recommendation to remove fine scratches on the windscreen as well? Used the 3M grey sandpaper thing and resulted in scratches. ↡ Advertisement

Watwheels Supersonic November 2, 2016 Share November 2, 2016 Isn't it due to the difference in temperature between the outside temperature and the car cabin temperature? Is it fogginf inside the car or outside? Just fiddle with the aircon temperature to get the ideal setting. If fogging from the inside means you got to turn down the temperature. Outside cold, inside warm. What do you think? If fogging on the outside...turn on the de-misting function.

Open the windows and stick your head out. Sometimes things like wind deflectors are useful in such scenerios. Off the aircon, open the windows as wide as the wind deflectors allow so that the temperature can equalise and stop the fogging. The rain won't be able to enter too.

Try kao colour bleach, the liquid form. It will remove the stain, but put on gloves, it might bite your hand. Edited November 2, 2016 by Kb27

For the glass scratches, you probably need to use cerium oxide with a buffer.. not easy to polish glass compare to painted surface.
