The look is somewhat a disappointment (like an offspring of Peugeot, Jeep, Land Rover & Outlander after a mess orgy)... But the spec does look up to date.

 

 

The VisionS adopts an alternative powertrain by combining a turbocharged 1.4-liter gasoline engine with an electric motor. The combustion engine delivers 156 horsepower (115 kilowatts) and 184 pound-feet (250 newton meters) of torque while the e-motor has an extra 54 hp (40 kW) and 162 lb-ft (220 Nm). The latter is incorporated in the six-speed DSG which sends the power to the front axle. There’s a second electric motor rated at 115 hp (85 kW) and 200 lb-ft (270 Nm) which drives the rear axle, thus granting the VisionS with an all-wheel drive system.

 

The lithium-ion battery pack located in front of the rear axle has a capacity of 12.4 kWh and provides enough energy for an electric range of 31 miles (50 kilometers). In hybrid mode, the high-riding concept is able to cover up to 621 miles (1,000 km). Fuel consumption when running as a hybrid stands at just 1.9 liters / 100 km (123.8 mpg US / 148.6 mpg UK), with equivalent CO2 emissions of 45 g/km.

 

With a combined output of 225 hp (165 kW), the VisionS will cover the sprint to 62 miles (100 kilometers) per hour in 7.4 seconds and reach a maximum speed of almost 124 mph (200 kph).

 

Skoda will exhibit the VisionS concept in public starting March 1 at the Geneva Motor Show.

Bro, I fully agree that AD don't carry all items but my point is; having an AD really makes life alot easier.

 

The buyer is actually paying for this "making life easier". Whether or not it is really easier, is questionable. The savings the buyer gets from self import is worth much more

BTW, some already thought that SUV in the photo above are a new Audi SUV or the production version of Kodiak, no joke. Well it is all about VW design language.
