No leh bro, diesel engine not so problematic and maintenance not that high and could be  lesser compared to petrol variant.

I read diesel need replace more parts on owner forum for some car models

A nice refresh but can still find some cheap plastic around. The Canton sound system is just average imo. Both the Velvet Red and Race Blue looks outstanding on this mid size SUV.

@Tohto want to do a test drive together? I just pop into the showroom to take a quick look this morning when driving past. Will be back for a test drive another day.

I find the size of this kodiaq looks big and it only consider a mid size SUV ah? 😅

Unlike the Hyundai Santa Fe and Kia Sorento (both around 4.8m in length), Kodiaq (4.7m) is in the same league as say Peugeot 5008 (4.64m), LR Discovery Sport (4.6m), Honda CR-V (4.63m), etc.

Imo, anything in between 4.5m to 4.8m is mid size, 4.8m to 5.2m full size / large, and >5.2m shall be extra large.

Not very big lar. Just slightly bigger than it’s smaller brother Karoq. Big size is like Carnival, Sorento or palisade

Thanks bro.

Let me know when you are going for the test drive. If my time permit will join you.

I will prefer tge Octavia Combi RS.

But but COE price is just not the right time for me to change car.

Looks great and comes fully loaded. Pity the COE is so high now.

Maybe it is due to a 7 seater SUV, thats why visually it looks big and seems like longer. 😂 For others SUV which is not 7 seater, it only seems like taller but not longer as it look.

Anyway, i kinds of like the design and look of kodiqa all the while. But this car is quite ex even during when the coe is low.

4.7m compared to around 4.6m, to me it seems like much longer a lot lo. Even though it is like only 1m or less difference. Lol.

No matter the size is mid size or even full size, driving it without going into those MSCP, malls and parallel parking, i find no problem. But due to many buildings here carpark quite tight and narrow, when driving such a size car, i always feel like very stress when comes to parking. Even though until now i have never driven a SUV before la. 😅
