Avg mth COE from Nov-Jan '17 Cat A is 3688, 8% reduction from avg mth COE from Aug-Oct '16 of 4016, yet Cat A looks to be still maintaining.

if they can only bid under CAT E quota... so if this bidding CAT E only 500 quotas, then UBER/GRAB can decide how much they want to bid mah.....it wont affect CAT A/B at all.

 

maybe we will see CAT E around 30% higher price than A/B if those private hire companies are only allow to bid under CAT E.

Agreed, last time when AD bidding I keep refreshing... the buffer between COE price and reserve price keep getting smaller... luckily it finally ran out of steam and secured my COE with 1k to spare
