I bought the service package not the warranty..

I have crossed the 3 years warranty... w the MBUX system, once broke, it is costly to fix it 

So I might consider the extended warranty.

Sure, make sure that they cover your MBUX if you do your service outside.. otherwise that extended warranty isn't useful. Check what it covers and the caveats..

I never never trust any local alibaba warranty. Only manufactures warranty which the local dealers will claim from. 
At the stroke of the pen, local dealer can say anything to void the local warranty.

From MB SG webby, it looks like MB SG provided that Extended Warranty.

Anyway, need to see the actual doc to be sure.
