Frankly, 2 airbags is really shortchanging the consumers here.

Now minimum 6 already

There should be no compromise on safety.

more like customer dont really believe that Airbag will save them from death and they will never be travelling fast enough to have airbag deployed.

It’s just like insurance.

Don’t think it’s useful until you really need it.

Car battery is cheap,

Just replace the car battery

Wait till you NEED to get somewhere, but your car will not start.

very true.

my neighbour bought a brand new oddy for the wife to drive.

one month later , i see her drive a new 5 series.

turn out a lorry ran a red light and crash into her. the whole front end and engine was ripped across the traffic lights. no more jap car for her.

They all complement each other.

Next time you buy new car request for no airbags...haha.

Or should email Ed Wallace to see what car he’s driving.

And your seatbelts.

That's why it's called supplementary restraint system Airbags.

How is the leg room for i30 compared to Elantra?

Elantra definitely spacious than i30 at the back seat. If I remember correctly the head room is opposite, due to the c-pillar drop on the elantra sedan.

I think differently.

Why I want take back 9k (50%of 18k), if I can have a discount of VES 10k at the beginning? And get back 4k at the end.

There's no discount of $10K bro at the start... Komoco just take the $10K and tell you they reduced the price by $10K... but actually, the price of the i30 cannot be $10K more than the Elantra...

Totally agree. The $10K is given to the dealers for them to play. Elantra being $11K and i30 being $18K (-$10K VES); i30 shd end up as equal or cheaper than Elantra.  VES & COE shd be directed to buyers and not have dealers involved.
