This is a dear consumption tax due to scarcity of goods (car, coe, road, parking, pollution etc).

 

Positively thinking, being able to afford to contribute these monies to nation building is a blessing also.

There are less people buying because of the slow down in the economy. People are holding onto their cash for a good reason. Economic uncertainty and job security are liabilities. People don't need to add another liability by buying a car. The only people telling you to buy a car are dealers.

U sure with data proven or just base on subjective gut feel only?

 

I would rather say it is because car are cheaper in a decade ago vs now. If u say economic is bad, i bet if gov release the 10 years loan all who want car will rush into the market again.

I don't have proof right now, but going by my observations of eateries, and shopping malls, I think that the economy is indeed slowing down..

Our economy is slowing down, but nowhere near the crisis 8 years ago. Oil and gas sector seems more badly hit now but it is a cyclical thing and somehow it will normalize based on past history.

because not all ppls are the same. During economic is good, I have no increment for many years. However, when economic are so call bad this few years, I start receiving increment and promotion.

 

Dont judge result based on one's own world as other ppls's world might be difference from yours.

 

Nevertheless, it is others ppls money. Why bother how others spend unless it impact your own agenda (getting cheap coe)
