Anyone know how the Lor Neng with soft yolk was made? Slow / Low temp cooking?

Boil for 6 minutes then put in ice-water and peel before marinating.

Hypersonic

Carb free dinner. The soup is a 6/10. Think need to add a few chicken feet to improve the collagen levels of the soup plus without 莲子, something is missing.

 

Lotus root also not soft enough. Probably need to cook longer. Though this was in the slow cooker for 5 hours.

Peanuts and Lotus root too much to digest at one go. My wife doesn't eat Lotus root. So I finished it on my own.

went to  Saboten express at Raffles City today. Had this chicken Katsudon, which is quite worth it for $9.30, tasted really good.
