Compared to the one I had from Dlaksa at hougang mall, yours look great. But for $3.50 only cannot complain.

Penang Assam laksa is inexpensive to make. Usually not satisfied with those I ate outside, even in Penang. Therefore, make my own & eat until very shiok !

Thanks for all the wishes from the bro and sis here, I am much better now and back to work. Have porridge and fried salmon (with some other Teochew chai) last night.

How is the food quality and taste?

From the photo, the fish and chip look quite oily.

The fried stuff are oily and also coated with thick layer of flour. The taste and freshness of ingredients are reasonably good though. The steak is quite a large portion (300g iirc), but probably due to it size, a little unevenly cooked.

Overall, I give it 3.5 out of 5. If without the fried stuff, rating would be closer to 4.

reminds me of last time chemistry lab sessions

[dizzy]:D

That is the idea of having theme cafeteria. But maybe not quite suitable for very young children as it might give thme the wrong impression that they could just drink from the test tube and beaker at science labs. Remember to remind our young one about it.
