Prawn Noodles IMG_5605.JPG

Prawn Noodles for dinner at River South (Hoe Nam) Noodles House, at the T-junction of Tai Thong Cresent, opposite the The Venue Residences (under construction), which is a short walk to the Potong Pasir MRT.

The soup is very 'sweet' and tasty. But my wife told me not to drink too much of the soup, because of its excessive MSG.

.

I actually paid $1 for an additional bowl of soup. Really carrot head gao gao.

My simple and hopefully healthier breakfast :)

Bread with cheese and ham :)

yo. Ham is convenient.

I won't say it's super unhealthy

But ham, sausage, luncheon meat, bacon, burger patties that are all prepared beforehand increase your risk of colon cancer risk. I would eat them once in a while type. U eat it at least 3-4 times a week going by your economic beehoon selection.

Wise doctor say, eat processed meat less you should. [laugh]

Jokes aside, I'd agree.  I used to eat sausages like mad, my doctor told me the same thing and I've reduced it to like two or three times a year.

@Sunny, the salted caramel flavour is not very strong. Do try. Sad to say, i eat this very often at night after work as a treat.

I like this brand cos there isn't much heaty stuff (chocolate, fudge etc) mixed into the ice cream unlike angmoh ice cream  [laugh]

For those who are not fussy, this noodle is ok for the quick tuck in and when you are in a rush.  Can be found in many parts of Singapore, including Orchard Road.
