Carbon82 Moderator July 21, 2016 Share July 21, 2016 It is just a facelift model with some modern infotainment and safety features, which I have doubt that TC will introduce it (the features) here. In Singapore market, the various cat A model have their own targeted buyer, such as the following popular choice: Altis => People that simply trust the brand to be a reliable one (extra features might not be an attraction to them) Sylphy => The larger cat A Japanese make, which attract buyer for it value for money (space / size vs $$$), and don't really care about VTEC, VVT, etc. Mazda 3 => Appeals to those after better handling (subjective), modern look, relatively well equipped, and at a reasonable price (which might not be really cheap) Civic => Need to say more? TC, VTEC, the "sporty" heritage, etc. Thus it also command a premium (worth it or not is another matter)
Jbren 1st Gear July 21, 2016 Author Share July 21, 2016 With current coe sylphy not look to be cheaper too :( new facelift with foldable 40 : 60 seat is the only thing I look for it. No doubt nissan also used to be quieter than mazda and honda (my personal feel dont shot me)...haha

Thecarboy302 3rd Gear September 11, 2016 Share September 11, 2016 If there's one thing our Sylphy was ahead of the US market, it's the 1.6T SSS version. US just got it in the form of the Sentra SR Turbo version. But the facelift Sentra (Sylphy) has been unveiled for almost a year now and here in SEA we are still stuck with the current pre-facelift model with no clue as to when we will see the facelift version, even Corolla Altis and Mazda 3 launched after the Sylphy has gotten a mid-life facelift already.
