Then just don’t add in lousy feature.. if added in please add in the improve one and not those old feature with known issue! Toyota can be so disappointing .. break my heart! Lol

Mine was 10 - 11 km/L (70% HW 30% city), always has eco light on. 

i pump 4 times each month so pretty painfully to my wallet. 1 full tank can only travel about 550 - 570. 

Agree that the car is generally okie. the material used are slightly better than the Korean competitor.

Actually only some Toyota models like wish have good resale value.

The rest u can go check it urself. So-so only

Not really. U must compare the price they bought too

 

Example if they bought their elegant at 115k to 120k Vs XXX brand who bought their car at 90k to 100k. Of course their price in used car market r higher. Must calculate must much they lose during the period of ownership

I find it's important to educate ppl the truth. Not heresay or tiagong.

The scrap value higher than most car same category...  past model, Toyota resale value higher due to trust due to durable and reliable...

But from my opinion, if you are concern about the speedo as compared to actual speed. All makes will need to verify this, not just toyota.

Reliable brand mean when customer can be rest assured all have been tested and checked... if not no reason pay more for same category car...

Aiyo this is becoming a broken record leh...across a few threads some more!

The Corolla is a product that is made for the masses, not designed with just YOU in mind. If the boot doesn't remained locked when you unlock the car, just accept it and move on lah. Change a bit to adapt lah.

God help us when you are capable of buying a Ferrari.

Define Reliable please.

I think everyone has different perspective of this. Just helping to share some light. 

Some may think that Reliable = car is maintain well, service regularly and doesn't breakdown.

Some may think that reliable means the first few months of ownership, 1 does not need to send back to workshop multiple times. 

I think everyone has different view on things. if you are directly looking at electronics/equipment fault, no car is perfect. 

 

Just my 2cents worth.

Life carry on... car drive on..experience shared on....  view shared on... if I would someone shared all these... my selection decision will be different... and I maybe happier? Lol..  technology should align with user experience..

Car is unlike phone where u can change easily if not suitable... car is longer commitment.. and the effect come later... Customer drive on and adapt doesn’t mean they are happy.. anyway to car sales man, they don’t bother as long as they get their commission now.. they can always join the popular brand AD anytime..

My advise to BM and Toyota, please take any complain seriously. It can worth more later on.. company reputation...
