Just to ask will the doors automatically unlock once you shift the gear to P?

See your manual, it wil teach you how to do this.

Default will not unlock.

Thanks. Done in a few seconds. Very straightforward and easy. The steps are in the link

Cannot get it. Can share how you get it? Below my steps.

- get in the car and close all doors (did not lock the doors)

- turn the ignition to ON (without starting the engine); (Since shift level is already in "P", left it untouched)

- press the unlock button and hold for more than 5 seconds

But cannot get. What is missing?

The last step i think is wrong. Press the the unlock button and hold for exactly 5 seconds, not more than 5 seconds. Release your finger and the door will lock and unlock itself to indicate the setting is complete.  You have to do it within 20 seconds after ignition on.

I did it by starting the engine. I believe you can also do it by turning on the ignition without starting the engine.

Finally succumbed to CO's constant nagging and due to the niggling wear and tear problem my 11 years old Sunny is showing of late. I have booked a Corolla Altis today, taking delivery around May.

How is the trade in for your Nissan

Hi, Just booked the Altis 11.5 gen. Was wondering how many COE bids before BM get you your COE?

How much you paid?
