Ended up with a used Passat 1.8 , at $9.5K anual dep. No regrets. 

 

Never expected it to be more economical than Altis 1.6. [laugh]

I salute you. I suppose when the "Please refuel" warning comes on, you are only left with 5 litres petrol?

Altis 50th anniversary version giving Oz tyres n also for the spare tyre in the bootð

Oz is local rims made by YHI in China. they bought the brand rights some years ago.

 

I feel the thailand factory 16 and 17" rims are nicer design.
