Unless you share which car and your booking price, I think nobody can give opinion.

You have bad experience?

What is the price you paid? To ask for 14k means the price you paid is very low. Quite unheard of to top up so much.

How much did the SE quote you for the car initially. Why need to top up 14k?

Saw some prices of cars adjusted already.

Large car up $1000

Small car down $1000

AD probably estimate the changes in the next bidding will be similar, so make the change 1st.

So not much of huge fluctuation.

Komoco increase their car price again, thats a total of 2 times before bidding. Expect coe to be aggressive liao.

Once after loan changes announced, then 2nd adjustment is to preempt the next COE bid

I think nowadays is $10K booking fee at least.. some expensive models are $15K or $20K. Never heard of $5K booking fee in recent years. Maybe the $14K is not asking for top up for G.COE but for downpayment lah haha

No joke. Below the msg " Hi Mr Tan, the top-up amount is $14k". I know it sounded funny, same as my colleagues. But seriously, do u think I shld commit?

Hey Bro...

Actually you can do the calculation... estimate how much the dealer is earning from your car... and then you will see if the 14K worth or not...

If you not sure about the calculation, just state the model, buying price and the rebate they give .... then we might able to have a clearer picture... why 14K
