Hi, just wan to ask for 1L or 1.4L turbo engine's horsepower (104/148) is it a direct comparison to NA engine's horsepower??

bhp is bhp. NA won't have turbo lag though.

imo you should look more at the torque values given across the rpm ranges rather than total bhp

Why judge a car by its engine capacity? In 2016 no less.

New BMW 730i with 2.0L engine, would you say it's not good value for money simply because engine is the same size as a Camry's? Or will you accept that technological advances bring about smaller engines?

Ya even F1 cars are now 1.6l haha

F1 cars are raced and throwed. :D

A KTM race dirt bike needs servicing and overhaul every 15 hours in operation, not by mileage.

Just to ask, have you driven the mz3?

Power to power, perhaps one can get Mz3 2.0 version.

I suspect Mazda auto box is much better drive than Astra which properly is an Aisin 6sp. Not that Aisin produces lousy gearbox but it is not as intelligent as the Mazda self-developed auto for a 6speeder.

Mazda 3 is equipped with rear multi-link suspension while astra offers compound link(should be torsion beam) as standard. Handling and comfort wise, you tell me which is better??? Usually slightly more premium conti will spec it with rear multi-link, but VW offers it as standard for almost all their model except entry polo/golf 1.2. The only critical spec lose out is GM's new ecotec engine which is more powerful than NA engine.

Must say Opel produces great car, so does Mazda.

Used to owned a Mazda 5, drive wise normal, handling decent, power kinda on the low side!

God enough for day to day, but when u starts pushing a little more, it doesn't seems to deliver that oomph!!

Mazda does produce cars that's scores high on the looks & design, but drive wise for Asia makes, my heart goes to Honda & Subaru!

Just personal preferences :)

As its our first time organizing an event like dis, u guys are welcome to share with us the things u hope to learn about the car, any thing related to the car so that we can do our best to make it a fruitful and meaningful event for everyone :) We may not be perfect, but we are constantly improving to make Opel ownership the most pleasant xp for everyone!
