Too bad working that night. 

 

Anyway I'm glad that the front suspension noise is finally solved. It was good service overall albeit waiting bit longer than expected. Ultimately the problem is solved

Vibration may not be due to engine mount but due to the rpm dropping when car is idling.

Apparently it was the lower right arm that was faulty. First heard also quite shocking. But either way still under warranty so no fear. Better to spoil now then surface out after 5 years.

hi dear Astra owners, just a quick check, is it a norm for aircon to have only 2 years / 40,000KM warranty, battery 1 year / 20,000KM, wheel alignment 3 months / 5000KM warranty only? despite the 5 years unlimited mileage warranty for everything else? thanks in advance!

battery 1 year warranty is normal.

most cars aircon are 3 years warranty.

as for wheel alignment, very subjective, they can give you 10 years warranty but once its proven you mount kerb etc, warranty void.

Sharing a pleasant experience with AG today

 

the 'ABS', 'TC' & 'ESC' indicator appeared on the instrument cluster while driving for the passed 3 days. Managed to secure a last min appointment and got the issue sorted.

 

Replaced 1'ABS' sensor and managed to squeeze in 10k servicing as well despite the many cars at the center.

 

Commendable for accommodating to last minute request and able to resolve issue. :)

 

Confirmed they replaced the engine cover to the type without logo n ecotec wording :(

Maybe you could have kept that engine cover.. Limited Edition now..

Actually AG should not change the engine cover without car owner's permission!
