Great start for Manu with 3-0 victory last night while Spurs lost 0-1 to Genk.

Can't wait for the League Cup final vs Southampton on 26/2, with 2 matches in-between on 19/2 (Blackburn) and the return match vs Saint Etienne on 22/2. Glory days to look forward to!

PARIS: Zlatan Ibrahimovic put Saint-Etienne to the sword with a hat-trick as Manchester United beat the French club 3-0 in the first leg of their Europa League last-32 tie on Thursday (Feb 16).

The Swede loved playing against Les Verts throughout his four years at Paris Saint-Germain and he was at it again to take his tally in 14 games against them to 17 goals....///can

ManU 2(Rashford, Ibra) - Bla 1

A well-deserved victory over Venky's Blackburn Rovers without Ibra and Pogba in the 1st half and they came on for Martial and Lingaard in the 2nd.

Smalling, Rojo and Darmian didn't cover the defence well and Mkhi wasn't up to the mark in taking his chances. Mata came on for Rashford and things started to move, with Pogba's defence-splitting pass to Ibra making a return match not necessary. Liked the commentator describing Ibra as not being physically speedy, but having 'speed of thought' after he scored. GGMU!

Europa League (2nd Leg)

ManU 1(Mhki) - SET 0 (ManU wins 4-0 on aggregate)

Not much to play for, as we won 3-0 in the first leg, with Mkhi being replaced shortly after his goal in the 16th minute, having stretched his leg muscles. Onward to the League cup final this Sunday, with a trophy chance for JM at last. Glory again!

Not sure why the Special One fielded such a strong team at St Etienne when we had such a strong lead.

While kpkb on the fixture congestion, he is, my 2 cts, not rotating enuff.

Now that Miki pulled a (slight, hopefully) hamstring and Carrick out injured with a Cup Final <4 days away

Too much respect for the competitions?

Hope the Special one is also the Wise One and things would work out in the end.
