redstuff 4th Gear November 5, 2017 Share November 5, 2017 Spoke to the EA guy there this evening. There will be 3 variants for the Veloce when they launch in Dec: 1) Base model: 2.0L / 200 bhp / 17" wheels / $180+K 2) Super model: 2.0L / 200 bhp / 18" wheels / Reverse car cam / $190+K 3) Veloce model: 2.0L / 280 bhp / 19" wheels / better trims, etc / $240+K All come with 10 free servicing ... almost covers 5+ years for most people and warranty is 100k km or more (can't remember liao). Sounds like another good RWD contender with the BMW 320i in around the price range of 180-200k. The other upcoming RWD contender would be the Kia Stinger. Will be interesting to see the price difference between 1) and 2). If it's high 180k vs low 190k, think many will take 2) for the bigger rims and reverse cam. But price difference will have to be around 2-3k to make it worthwhile. Also, at 180k for 200bhp, there may be a few other competitors like Q50, IS200. They have the advantage of Japanese reliability and more horses as well.

(2) also has twin exhaust pipes vs single exhaust for the (1) model. Is it a real twin exhaust or simply 2 pipes? Can always put on aftermarket exhaust tips to fix that issue Good to dream about owning one................. ↡ Advertisement
