Hi Guru, anyone knows where i can buy 1L bottle of qashqai engine blue coolant to top up the radiator?

There is a seller at Sh***** but the price is rather high for 1L. And i can't find them at auto retail shops here.

Btw, this forum has been most helpful for QQ owners and newbies. Thanks to all the gurus!!

can try autosaver. they service by the book. did my CVT oil change with them.

this one really no idea. so far i only see big bottles. 1L ones not to sure didnt see before.

Hi all,

Recently took over my dad’s qq 1.2. Found that when moving off, it stutters and struggles to change gear. RPM up and down as well. But when already picked up speed, higher gear change no issues. Only low gear will struggle to change.
 

Already changed spark plugs and ignition coils. Could be it transmission issues? Anyone facing the same?

when did u last change ur cvt oil? make sure to use original NS3. cheap option is to change this can see how. and oh yes, please also change always the cvt filter and also the strainer too.

Hi QQ gurus, i’m considering a secondhand 1.2T or 2.0 qashqai (2016/2017 version).

Been reading the posts and noticed a lot of underlying issues with QQ 1.2T like piston faulty, eo leak, underpower, etc.. 

Does 2.0 have similar issues like 1.2T ? or better performance n reliable? cos i’m getting a secondhand unit with balance 3-4 years usage before enter into COE car, hence would like to hear from gurus here on your thoughts 🙏🏻🙏🏻

I've sent Tan Chong bukit timah and the SA used the computer to diagnose and did not detect any problem. The SA told me likely to be gearbox issue and to monitor

@Winson84 I have been driving the facelifted model (end 2017) 1.2A till now and I don't encounter any serious problem except to change the battery and brake pads. And of course the regular oil change at 10k KM interval. Just FYI.

change out your CVT oil and filters first.

@Winson84 2.0L is fine unlike discontinued/obsolete 1.2T .. older but proven MIJ engine. Only caveat is that FC is so so for a compact size SUV but 6 yrs old car will have its share of usual wear n tear issues unless previous owner(s) had changed out them. Cheers.

@Winson84 Hi Winson, most welcomed ... good size jap SUV for small family and comfortable quasi-conti ride built for harsher than usual UK road with its rather good looks especially in white and 2.0L will be fine .. hope you get a good one ! Cheers.

yes get the 2.0 version. FL ones will be nicer.

@StreamRSZ Indeed but think 6 yrs old ones are still preFL and newer FL will not be cheap ? Crazy to think my same 4 yrs old FL mazda 6 bought at 108k is now selling at 180k+  🤦‍♂️  Cheers.

Recently, i feel there's a lost of power and the car like jerking abit.. So went to the workshop, they change the spark plug and ignition coil.. Spend $800 plus.
The problem solved. But new issues arise. The car consumption become worse. I realize that full tank can only travel 430 instead of the usual 520-550.
Anyone having this problem before.. Kindly Adise. Thanks.
