i doubt if you go back TC, they will care. even if they do they will charge you for labour etc.

best option is to go with soundproofing outside. this rattle sound probably is a factory installation problem.

do you have this rattle sound since day one when u collected your car?

Not sure which head unit you refer to as stock. When QQ was first launched, there was an option to change the factory HU to an "android-like" HU.

And the "upgraded" HU by TC, comes with GPS, is quite capable. Has BT, can link iPhone via cable (as iPod) or BT, speaker function for calls, DVD, reverse camera monitor with static guide lines.

Thinking of changing, yes. But only for Apple CarPlay features so that GPS has live traffic information and maybe add Siri functions.

And of cos for better sound quality. The current SQ is okay. Add amp and change speakers becomes above average. I believe using a proper HU i.e. Pioneer will become mind blowing.

Otherwise, the existing one is actually not bad.

Yes, you are probably right about day one. Was very occasionally there even when new, but now it's constant and driving me crazy.

I knew QQ had a reputation for rattles... but it was a nice car otherwise, and I took the risk.☹️

If you know any good workshops to try in the East, would be grateful.

When you send in did you ask to test drive to locate the sound? Usually more effective this way rather than describing the sound. Just that need to spend a bit more time there.

Yes, Tan Chong mechanic drove it up and down the ramp, agreed about the rattle. To me it sounds like something loose inside. But they just "added insulation" x 2 times, and didn't even do test drive after - minutes after picking up the car each time, I knew it wasn't fixed.

To be honest, I know they aren't going to spend any time on this for me...

thats why i say lor. go outside audio shop to do sound proofing.. TC will not want to entertain since warranty is out i supposed.

i referring to this stock HU.  i thnkk the functions you mentioned is basic but doesnt have andriod or or car play function. 

So thats why i asked if any one  changed a HU with these new andriod or carplay functions to replace this stock HU

I prefer non mesh ones. Currently using 3M mesh the dirt and stuff difficult to clean.

Do you guys check your engine oil regularly? I realise mine always depleting to 1/4 level of the dip stick whenever its due for servicing. is this phenomenon normal?

And also do you guys experience when moving off from complete stop, the car just refuse to move for the approx. 3 sec despite you had floored the accelerator?

Happened to me before. You need TC service centre to do a software uodate to solve the issue
