AdricO Clutched January 18, 2019 Share January 18, 2019 Hi Hafiras/AdricO, This mod was done for about 10 bros about 2 years ago. I no longer have the Qashqai nor bring in the modules but do PM me if you want the UK contact who provided them to me and fitted by Aestmod at 23 Geylang Lorong 11. It should about 200 for a pair of these module need and it cost 150 for fitting or about 350 in total but do note that this works only when headlight is switch on as when at indoor carpark or at nite. I wanted it to work also in day time and hence needed 2 pairs or at least 500 in total. Cheers. Richard PS: this cool UK guy also drive a qashqai who also helped me with almost 60 set of disable stopstart module. Hi Edwyn, Dampers set should last >100k km with typical driving and no need to change springs but if you wish to, I have a set of unopened Bilstein B12 together with rare matching Bilstein mounting plates to lelong .. no stock at local Bilstein and yet costs 1.7k+ but I am selling them for 1k nia cos no more qashqai. Check out my item! Reduced ! Bilstein B12 For Nissan Qashqai 1.2L J11 with optional mounting plates for S$1,000! https://sg.carousell.com/p/181285296 Cheers. Richard Hi Richard, Thanks for the info. As Hafiras said, it’s pretty steep in price. I Guess because it’s not available here in SG. :( Pleasant day. Adric

Anyone had this experience before ? https://imgur.com/a/zkA2LhD Hi Nisian, Notwithstanding any obvious damage of the car, you may need to replace the door seal first. If that doesn't stop the leak, check / replace seal of the windscreen.(expensive). The original owner should have maintain the rubber seals. Kalthus Clutched January 19, 2019 Share January 19, 2019 Hi Kalthus, Primacy 4 ST now used in my mazda 6 2.0 tells me it is not as quiet as Primacy 3 ST :( The thread design is different enuff to tell me cannot be quieter despite Michelin's claim that it is 0.5db quieter in comparison. Some shops may still be primacy 3 ST and pls grab before this legandary quiet tyres that grips well and last a long long time. Cheers. Richard Thanks richard, i managed to find the primacy 3 ST but the manufacturing date is late 2017, is there a concern since the tyre is already aging for 1 year. Will this affect the shelf life of the tyres?

Will this affect the shelf life of the tyres? Hi Kalthus, How much ? Usual preference of 6 mths but just about 12 mths and coverted quietness, I would go for them if the price is good .. the tyres shop knows it gets more difficult and if say north of 170 each, it would be ok. Cheers. Richard PS: our tyre should last 2-3 yrs even if mounted i.e. subjected to the elements
nashstruck 1st Gear January 19, 2019 Share January 19, 2019 HELP!!!Had a super hectic day today as both my kids not feeling well :( Whilst v stressed in carpark, went too close to pillar and scratched my QQ 2.0 against a pink pillar. Scratches quite prominent and dent also seen in the lower scratch (see photo attached). Anyone with any idea of the kind of work I need to do to repair this? Will I need to repaint the whole door + handle? Should I go to TC or workshop can handle? Don't want a workshop to accidentally repaint the door a different colour from rest of the car... Any sort of advice is welcome. TIA!

poorcarowner 1st Gear January 27, 2019 Share January 27, 2019 Been a while.... just dropping by to say Hi. been driving my QQ 1.2 -- 2014 model (pre-facelift, pre-owned 3 year old car) for about 5 months now. Mostly all okay so far. overall experience with this car so far all okay. I especially like the ultra-light steering wheel, really makes driving a breeze, especially maneuvering in heavy traffic.. on the cons-side: acceleration from stop leaves a lot to be desired. even if I press the accelerator just a tad harder, the engine easily touches 3000 rpm.. feels like more noisy without the car actually moving fast enough. also transmission feels a bit sticky when the car is around 55kph. I thought CVT transmission would be smoother! fuel consumption sucks big time.. I can barely get around 10kmpl. I generally pump the Esso 8000 and once in a while the lower 5000. barely any difference between the two. just wanted to share my experience .. a bit relax this morning.. :-)

But once the turbo kicks in, the acceleration is actually not bad. Just let the revs climb, and I will feather the accelerator to let the CVT shift. Once you get the feel you can simulate the shifting pattern of an automatic. Fuel consumption is not so good, around 10-11 km per litre, no matter pump Shell 95 or V power. Just get used to it, at least the road tax is low haha.

Hahaha The turbo lag refers to the acceleration when moving off from a stop, when the RPM needs a few seconds to increase from idle and activate the turbo (about 1800 RPM and above). I don't have the problem that you face at 55km/h.
