Do go down to Aestmod, they got a lot of 2nd hand QQ HU.

Their price should be reasonable.

Yes I went to Aestmod to change my honk and installed the mesh. Ah boon was as usual very good and recommended the HU. I just want to try to get the stock HU from any seniors here first.

 

I have a question here. If I have the stock rim to another 17" rim, will it cause a drop in FC. In theory the new rims are lighter and supposed to help FC. But I am feeling otherwise. Any comments?

The common belief is that lighter rims improves fc and acceleration. But unless the rims are free or your mileage is high, i feel they don't really save u money cos the rims cost money which means u are spending money to save money.

Our stock 17" should be 10.4kg/rim.

 

Really depends on what 17" and how heavy it is.

 

If you do intend to change, do consider 18" as it is arguable nice looking and you can change to lower profile tyre without major concern on increase FC and change to ride comfort.  You will also be able to have more choice of BBK although R Logic oreli had their bracket updated to cater for big 4 (not mini 4) to be ok in our stock 17" rim which I recently installed.

I was anxious and kept an eye on the page hoping someone would respond positively. Saw the notification and when I went to open the message, it was that type of rubbish. First to respond but nothing to offer. Okay lah, when I strike lottery I will consider changing cars... which come to think of it, maybe I should buy my car plate number.

 

Not my first time and I have had no luck with Good Samaritans willing to stop and help jumpstart. Have cables, but everyone is 'sorry rushing off somewhere'. Must really rely on myself now lol. I am on 17k mileage btw, casual driver previously but picked up now that the kid is in childcare

17 days after I took delivery of my qashqai and it can't start because of key system fault and have to be tow back to workshop. Did some research and read so many negative review on reliability. So disappointed with Nissan.

1st post in 4 years. Did research and read reviews after buying. Quoted after 1hr of posting.
