It is very strange for a car battery to be replaced in 3 months. You can drain the battery flat and require recharging but the needs to replace is because your battery couldn't hold your charge. That is quite a different story.

Like you handphone, you can use it till it is dead and recharge again. But if the charging couldn't hold, then you need to replace. So it is important to understand why that battery failed in 3 months. Something is draining it at a very high current regulary.

Hi Victor,

The stock FIAAM EFB (enhanced flood battery type) has inherent quality issue and there is a service bulletin from Nissan UK to replace them if there is such early failures.  Not all affected and some bros has their for 18 months without trouble but you will not know when or if you are affected unless you keep monitoring low battery symptons and hence cheap SGD5 cigarette socket type voltage meter to show battery level >12.1v after overnite parking and before switching on engine is recommended.

New and current replacement battery are the more expensive AGM type also from FIAAM.

Cheers,

Richard

Hi Victor,

Oreli have right ?

FOC 1st year and 50% 2nd year.

I got mine replaced twice FOC and you can say I am quite happy with their offers especially now on best AGM type.

Cheers.

Hi all,

Just collected my qq last friday and enjoying the ride so far!

Was just wondering what is everyone's fuel consumption? I got 9.9km/l so far and thought it was quite bad. So turned on the eco mode and now it gone up to about 11.2km/l. Btw, does anyone knows what is the difference between the fuel economy 1 and fuel economy 2? Noticed that the FE2 is much better at 16.3km/l.

Thanks!

FE2 is trip average, calculated everytime you start and stop engine. FE1 is average of all trips throughout until you reset it manually.

Hi phtdcks!

Welcome to the club!

I'm following what some brothers shared by calculating the FC based on the distance travelled and the litres of petrol Pumped. Into my fifth tanks and I'm hovering between 13.5-13.8 with eco mode, start-stop disabled and 70% travelling on highway. Only Pumped 98 once so cant be sure if it will improve as some brothers shared. Hope this helps!

Hi dez! Thanks! But do you mean the fc given by the computer is not accurate?

Good morning! I'm not sure too. Just that I thought the figures on the petrol receipt are more indicative. I could be wrong too.. maybe u can compare the results from the computer and see if they match. Edited by Dez
