Any idea which fuse?

The wire or the fuse?

The wire or the fuse?

You may want to check whether your reverse light is on when you shift to reverse gear. If it is not when it should be, then it is most likely the fuse. other possibilities are loose connection to HU or the camera is spoilt. For the fuse thingy, if you are the adventurous and hands on type, you might need to find the correct fuse for the reverse light. If not, it is advisable to find the workshop to troubleshoot for you.

mine happen once after i got my car back from servicing. sent back and they change the fuse wire

If I am not wrong, the reverse light should not be working as well as most will tap the power from reverse light. Edited by Hd2004

I have sold my qashqai.

This is a nice car to have but the quality of the car is a big question mark and it does not help to know the many issues UK drivers are facing. If I have the time and money I may keep the car though as it is exciting and satisfying to reproduce a problem so that Tan Chong guys are able to know the issue and solve it.

I am very disappointed with Nissan quality as my previous Toyota had no unknown and ridiculous issues for more than 8 years of ownership.

i recall the comment tan chong put on servicing sheet got fuse.

For yours when the reverse cam didn’t show up, does the reverse light work or also not working?

First you need to remove the number plate. This can be done by unclipping the frame of the plate holder from the sides. It is by snap fit only.

Once the number plate is removed, you will be able to see the screws that tighten the plate holder to the car. Just need to tighten these screws properly with a screwdriver.

When I received my car a few years back, I also faced the same issue. The license plate was slanted. Do send it back to TC workshop and have it fixed. Seems that TC QC is very bad .

Neutral Newbie

Hi All,

Newbie here. I owned a 2.0L Qashqai for 2 years. I have a problem with the car boot. Sometimes I am able to open the car boot by pressing the oblong button but sometimes just can't open. Brought to TC service centre to check, they said is due to sensor issue. I am just wondering anyone here encounter the same problem before? Appreciate your advise.

Thank you.

Neutral Newbie

Hi guys. New to forum. My qashqai HU suddenly zonked out. Warranty is only up to 1 year for new cars. Tan Chong service said motherboard issue immediately upon looking at it. Said they’d charge close to $360 to fix it. And it only comes w 3 months warranty.. doesn’t sound logical to me. Any suggestions?

Hi all,

My QQ has this rattling sound on driver side that is really bad.

Can advise me where this rattling comes from and where can i get in fixed?

Is this due to the GPS module cabling ?

Thanks... [:(]

Hi Frostcsg,

My QQ had tok/ tok noise came out from driver seat. Checked with TC technical guys for a few times and confirmed the noise came from the driver seat. Waited 1 month to get the seat to replace and the noise issue was settled. Not sure you are facing same issue. You can  monitor the noise whether it comes from the driver seat. Hope to solve ur issue asap.
