Beregond Supersonic May 3, 2016 Share May 3, 2016 even if Germany invaded Britain , seriously how many year can they rules, their soldier will be fighting guerrilla warfare in the whole of Europe, against all their citizen. without winning the heart of the citizen, 1 can never rules the land, ↡ Advertisement

Joseph22 Turbocharged May 3, 2016 Share May 3, 2016 War is a battle of resources. How many new men you can commit to replace the dead. How many new planes and new ships you can build per day to replace those lost. British Isle, is all but an island. Germany had continental Europe to pull resources from. If US continued to be governed by a pacifist, then there is a high chance Hitler will take London. Here is a little link for you. 1 study saying the Brits can win the war alone, does not mean 99 others saying it can't, is wrong. Hindsight does not consider probability anyway, since whatever happened is a surety. Roosevelt had to goad Japan into attacking US first so he can sway public opinion to support the UK. Actually j made a mistake. Not uk but Russia. Any case the result is the same. German will fall together end ww2

Maxus-MIFA9 Supersonic May 3, 2016 Share May 3, 2016 What would happen if US did not join the war? Will we be speaking Japanese? And Europe speaking German? Maybe they earn the right to police the world. After all they did win the world war on 2 fronts. Just saying. It's not winning the American leaders any political currency back home to station their troops abroad. Which other developed nation wants to fill this shoe? Russia? China? Uk? With China awakening. You want an Asia without the Pacific fleet? CIA started some wars? Proof? You have your reason to support USA but I reserve my judgement on USA... Read up on Afgan war histories before the Taleban era. Maybe you can recall Rambo III movie which gave some history on the war torn country..... Philipkee Twincharged May 3, 2016 Share May 3, 2016 That may be true after they broke the code. Probably they could have a chance to pin point Hitler location and strike. But taking the head may not stop the German war machine. Unlikely.Actually I read this. The greatest allied commander in Europe during ww2 was....... Adolf Hitler. He made so many mistakes it cost Germany the war. If they had killed him, someone more competent might just have taken command and won the war. So even if they knew where he was, they will not kill him.......... It was in allied interest to keep him alive and in command.
Sosaria Twincharged May 3, 2016 Share May 3, 2016 Some critic believe that Uk will win the war even if USA didn't join. But we are not expert so what can we say.I doubt it. USA has the industrial capacity to more than replenish their equipment losses ... just like the soviets they crushed the japs and nazis with their sheer numbers. UK not quite there. Pocus Turbocharged May 3, 2016 Share May 3, 2016 (edited) US war with Japan because Japan bombed Pearl Harbor. No other reason... If you really read history. US will go to war sooner or later lah. There is strong public opinion to go to war but a group of politicians are trying to block the bill to go to war. The bombing of Pearl Harbor accelerated the bill to be pass the declaration of war to Japan. ================= If Singapore goes to war, you will also see a lot of SAF personnel will also airstrike themselves. Not because they want to kamikaze with enemy, its cos they read the wrong MGR grid. NS/reservist training already kena, real life even more. Atonchia Supersonic May 3, 2016 Share May 3, 2016 not too long ago, USA bomb a hospital, recently their court rule that its not a crime, Is this consider a coward? or can call them terrorist also? assuming we look at thing from a neutral pov, not from the western pov. That's a miscommunication. An accidental killing. A wrong intelligence. The most powerful phrase is: it's a small sacrifice for the freedom of mankind. Or whatever things they want to say. It's a small price to pay for the larger good. We made a mistake, let's move on.

The act itself may have been a mistake. Or it may have been intentional, deemed acceptable collateral damage by their reckoning. Whatever the case, the failure to own up and accept accountability is an act of cowardice. The US is often a bully on the world stage. Like all bullies, cowardliness is at its core. Everyone should watch John Oliver as often as possible. But two episodes are required viewing when thinking about the US's modern role. The one on Drones and the one on Translators. USA was just using Japan to show the world her atomic weaponry. The war in Germany was over. And the horrendous losses at Iwo Jima and Okinawa made America planners think that upwards of 6 digits of american casualties in trying to invade the japanese mainland. If comparing 200k of japanese casualties (civilians) vs 100k of your own country's troops, it's a no brainer to use shock and awe. The firebombing of tokyo probably killed as many (at least 60k japanese) as the nagaski and hiroshima bombs. ↡ Advertisement
