My hunch says its going to be down ... say within +/- $3K range.

1) Not many new promos or intriguing new cars

2) Pricelist mostly remains the same.

3) Show rooms not that crowded. Still can find parking lots at the dealers.

Just my $0.20.

Don't forget still got Uber.

Last round, it is reported that they only submitted around 90 bids.

My guts feel is they know the COE is going up...no point bidding.

They will lay low, ready to strike...waiting for COE to drop, then come in again throwing in all their bids.

based on the car price listed on sgcarmart, the price of the QQ seems to have gone up by almost 6k even though the Cat A coe went up by much less than that.

My friend was telling me the list price before this round of COE is 102k. Now its 108k!!!

Showroom quieter last weekend could be families with kids are preparing for exams! Haha

Qq raise price could be due to higher price of HRV (japan) that Kah is bringing in. Vezel/HRV and QQ are one of the closest competitors out there.

When you buy a basic car like altis, service outside is easy, ... Never bother by those free service deal.. I prefer cash, low buying price.. Hehehhe

Agreed, who bother about free servicing / grooming? after all either thy factor in or has tied-in promotion, make you sign up packages :XD: < go for direct facilitator who handle with seller, and bargain hard, the experiences are plenty , test drive and made offer, do and don't prior to any signing SPA, this way both party comes to an agreement, then go to your preferred w/s to get it fix.

agree bro, I never believe in whatever so free stuff. Where got free 1?? its all bundle into the selling price and sell higher to you. I might as well do it saperately at cheaper price? The only advantage I could think of its 1 stop service, save a bit of hassle.

you do not own this space.  Just carry on.  Does not mean that you started all these previously, there is an automatic rule going forward!

Quit the entitlement mentality.  We had all sorts of folks starting COE threads before your existence

Thank you

Similar to that other ANAL-yst who spout the same nonsense day in day out using the same data and finally got ticked off for being double-headed in approach.

He's gone, and nobody misses him. Life goes on!

Actually, the number of COEs uber gets is small number compared to our car population. But the thing is that they came in big bids and sweep away a good percentage of the monthly quotas. Those that could not get the coe for that round will end up fighting with those who just scrap their cars the coming round. The vicious cycle will continue.

If only uber COEs can be regulated, like registering their cars evenly across few years.

I think they did their sum.

And now is the time to strike, not to wait a few years later when COE hit $90K again, it will be too late.
