Kb27 Supersonic April 28, 2016 Share April 28, 2016 Look for a small switch around the lower panel on driver side. If it's there, turn key ignition to ON and hold the switch for 5 secs to turn off the alarm.
Youth92 2nd Gear April 29, 2016 Share April 29, 2016 Cutting the wire to the speaker solely wont work as Im pretty sure the hazard lights will be blinking as well? Best is to restart the car alarm system like how Kb27 mentioned
Samtkt2000 Neutral Newbie May 3, 2016 Share May 3, 2016 suppose to have key or switch to deactivate the alarm. Need to plug in the key and turn the power up and press the switch or use the special key to disable the alarm.
Cmtan1 1st Gear May 13, 2016 Share May 13, 2016 Let me explain how the remote alarm does when you lock it When pressing the lock button (on the remote) 1. Lock the door 2. Arm the alarm When pressing the unlock button (on the remote) 1. Unlock the window 2. Un-arm the alarm What happens when you try to unlock the door (using the key) 1. Unlock the door You notice that the alarm is not un-armed when you unlock the door using a key Remote alarm system normally provides for a manual alarm un-arm by activating a secret button after the ignition key is turned on (first click) There is no other way to deactivate the alarm without dis-arming the alarm. This is an necessary alarm feature. In your case, it is obvious that the unlock signalling from your remote is not working. This is most likely a unlock button contact issue. Changing the button should solve the issue. BTW, I worked with and design car remote alarm systems before ↡ Advertisement
