inlinesix Hypersonic July 7, 2014 Share July 7, 2014 good SUV, except CVT is drawback, doubt how it can draw a near 2 tons body If using conventional autobox, it is even worse. Surprise Richburg cost lower, possibly its a lower version or less specs car, as from experience, Richburg tends to equip their cars with more goodies/accessories. Check whether has auto tailgate, electric seats, cruise control, moonroof, dvd/navigation. In my opinion, the harrier look nicer than the equivalent rx lexus. Really like both the front and rear lights. And for the difference in price, seems harrier is value for money. Front wheel drive should give better fuel economy. btw: I had good experience buying new cars from both Richburg and Vincar many2 yrs ago with no issues.

Richburg - Elegant model 155k 3 guaranteed Bid - Premium model 166k 3 guarenteed bid - I think so if i remember correctly - cruise control, lane depature warning and electric tail gate. Vin car - Elegant model 161k 1 guaranteed bid - Premium model 166k 1 guaranteed bid - I think so if i remember correctly. - cruise control, lane depature warning and electric tail gate. I forgot to ask them if there is electric seats. All have Moon/Sunroof. Seems like richburg elegant model is a better deal... Am really interested in this model. Anyone encounter any problems with servicing and warranty with Richburg???

Anyone encounter any problems with servicing and warranty with Richburg??? Richburg that time can be service at Borneo motors, but not cheap, this was before they have their own workshop at Changi/shell petrol kiosk. They will give you richburg pillow/car cushions......DVD with Richburg emblem as background. And they will replace the tinted rear screen to LTA approve type. Vincar ok too. Good to check the price with the omv value. Sometimes pearl white/crystal shine need to top up 1-2K. Go for it, go and buy ! (unless borneo motors going to bring in than better wait). Suspect harrier will sell like hot cakes once more people see how nice it is on the road, interior more spacious than most saloon cars and likely bomb proof reliability (if similar to old model harrier).

Since current harrier is based on RAV4, it is no more than a replacement of Vanguard. How to compare Vanguard vs RX? Different class le. Harrier starts from 2L with CVT-i. RX starts from 2.7L with 6AT. Where got equivalent? It is NO longer like for like comparison btw Harrier & RX. There is additional of 1K for pearl white and metallic black (appear to be dark purple according to the SE). This car is confirmed swee! Only uncertainty is the power. Sometimes I drive my relative driving Vellfire (2.4L), though only 170bhp with such a big car but really wont feel lack of power.

inlinesix Hypersonic July 8, 2014 Share July 8, 2014 CVT compare to conventional AT, reliability and maintenance wise which one better? puny engine with TC + GDI will be the trend in future due to fuel price, In term of maintenance, there might be more complication with maintenance of CVT belt. Once the belt snaps, no drive liao. For Toyota, it is all Hybrid technology rather than TC. Toyota Hybrid + Panasonic battery (if i rem correctly) is the best among Toyota products. in term Harrier, i would choose 2.5L Hybrid. Estimated price for Premium would be $216k for 197hp & 21km/L. Ppl always say CVT no good. I also don't know why no good. hope this will enlighten me. CVT has rubber band effect. Step hard on accelerator. Hear engine noise for some time before any reaction. CVT is meant for small engine as designed by DAF. It is NOT meant for big engine. ↡ Advertisement
