For pre facelift Harrier, how can we find out the year of manufacture with chassis number?

I given ZSU60-xxxxxxx, checked at few VIN decoder website, all say either not in database or need 17 numbers.

TIA

where can see the in-car specs/new features for harrier 2017/18?

Key aspects of Harrier Turbo:

- Turbo charged of course, same engine as NX-200T, 8AR-FTS, with 227 bhp and 350Nm@1650 rpm onwards

- Newly tuned suspension

- 6 speed auto

- Several safety features, Pre-collision, Lane Departure, AHS, ACC

Basically all previous concerns on lack of power, floating sensation if driven hard, cvt gear slippage/issue and concern of poor warranty service and even disappearing PI has been addressed.

As expected, official FC of turbo version is 13.6km/l instead of 16km+/l for NA engine but we all know NA is more like 10km/l for real driving and hence probably slightly better than 8.5km/l real FC of Forrester of same 350Nm/240bhp since not AWD/boxer engine.

Cheers,

Richard

Price is $15x,xxx

BM taking booking fee 3k now, invite you for launch at Ritz Carlton where they will fly in the Japanese engineer. If you decide not to buy, they will returned the booking fee.

They say specs are "high end" with pararomic roof, GPS, 9.2in screens, premium leather, LED day lights....

Specs will be released this weekend.

Hi Cikgoo,

Indeed ..but 150k++ is lowest elegent variant and without pararomic roof, electric tailgate, electric seat etc. while the luxury variant at 165k+ will have all the bells and whistles, include napa leather seats etc.

Good news though is that those features including safety which I mentioned above comes standard.

Cheers.

Very tempted to place the 3k deposit and go for the launch..

For new launch cars, are the prices the best and equipment level the best during this kind of launch with early bird discount?

Was looking at A4. Now after launch, price like drop and come with VC.. was thinking if it will happen to harrier or not

Hi Soho, I believe so is best possible deal during launch ...but also beware you will be guinea pig to help them fix and fine tune issues rising from such new model although tested engine on nx-200t and AD helps to avoid fighting with those centralised PI workshop to no avail.

Too many variable of COE prices and how popular it is will determine its worth but this will be sought after compared to non turbo for the mentioned reasons of addressing almost all "issues' raised on pre-FL albiet at a price, including higher FC.

Cheers.

Just put down the 3K refundable deposit at BM...

The actual car will be at Leng Kee showroom from June 10th onwards.

Got 3 trims, Elegance, Premium and Luxury. All 3 are Turbo. I damn cock, keep thinking only Luxury is Turbo. So new model all are 6speed Turbo charged, same engine as NX200t. Can't wait to receive further news!
