HengZhiming Clutched August 18, 2015 Share August 18, 2015 (edited) Same here opting out the moonroof, a useless and severely underutilised feature esp under our hot and humid weather. It also lowers the headroom by the layer of "false ceiling" to close, retract and hide the glass. Under the tough elements of rain and Sun, the rubber gaskets surrounding the glass frame might not hold nicely like new after a few years and may cause a leakage subsequently during rain. Moreover, some buyers already complained about rattling noise when travelling on uneven roads. Don't forget that this piece of glass is big from front to back unlike those small piece at the front which is not so bad. 7hm Turbocharged August 18, 2015 Share August 18, 2015 hi, i just joined the forum. am getting my premium panoramic next month c/o PI in alexandra road. can anyone recommend a good supplier for lcd screen for the kids to watch behind? i suppose it can only be installed behind the front seat headrests, as it comes with moonroof. Buy an iPad (or other tablet) holder. Less expensive and much more flexible in functionality!

7hm Turbocharged August 24, 2015 Share August 24, 2015 Need help... a noob question How to make the dash / odometer show trip A & B ? Like in photo... I think you need to use the directional keys on the steering wheel to flip through the dash multifunction display until you reach the trip computer. I cannot quite tell you the exact procedure without being hands on in a Harrier myself. One of those can't explain it but can do it kind of things. Then again it's probably because I've never had a real good hands on with a Harrier. Probably you will see it eventually if you keep pressing left/right to switch between display categories. legionx 1st Gear August 25, 2015 Share August 25, 2015 If we scroll through the dashboard there's a triangle with exclamation mark inside. Anyone knows what that option is for? It'll be greyed out when refuel light is on. When I scroll to that option there's nothing but Japanese words.

Xjr180 Neutral Newbie August 31, 2015 Share August 31, 2015 (edited) I have been hearing from some PIs that precrash system are not useful and may cause accident especially if another car cuts in front of you, precrash kicks in will e-brake and then someone will hit your rear. Can anyone with precrash share their experience and whether such remarks from PI are true? Thanks. Hopefully can get mine soon. CNelson 1st Gear September 1, 2015 Share September 1, 2015 I have been hearing from some PIs that precrash system are not useful and may cause accident especially if another car cuts in front of you, precrash kicks in will e-brake and then someone will hit your rear. Can anyone with precrash share their experience and whether such remarks from PI are true? Thanks. Hopefully can get mine soon. Hi Personally, i find the PCS (PreCrash System) very useful, the only reason i think your PI say it's not useful is probably he dun have stocks of car with PCS... Let me try to answer your questions: Q1) If another car cuts in front of you? - A1) are you not supposed to brake when sensing danger ahead? with or without PCS? Q2) Precrash kicks in will e-brake and then someone will hit your rear? - A2) When PCS kicks it, it works exactly like the driver applying e-brake, the brake lights will also appear to warn those behind you, so unlikely your 'someone' will hit your rear, unless that 'someone' is tailgating, and will hit you anyway, again with or without PCS Just my 2 cents, if they are not useful, you think Toyota will bother to put it in on most of their premium cars? I personally will recommend this system, if they are available, Hope my answers clarify

Can anyone with precrash share their experience and whether such remarks from PI are true? Thanks. Hopefully can get mine soon. im having the pre-crash on my ride. Seldom use the sonar cruise ( pre-crash) but the sensors do work well on normal driving too... If you happens to speed up and the car suddenly stops in front of you, your sensors kicks in and you will have an alert wif loud beeps....warning you that you are too close... not sure will auto ebrake as too close....hahaha... unless some bros here willing to try out.... The sensors do beeps too when someone happens to walk from the left n you are looking at the right side for cars to clear b4 you drive out of lane... it happens many times as bicycle tries to cycle across from my left as I was looking out for traffic on the right as getting out of a small road... Most without the precrash says not useful.... after using then u realised it does helps 1 way or the other... Pre-crash comes with all original sensors on bumpers. 4 in front & 4 rear.....on the screen you are able to see the indicators too when you are parking..... or getting out of a tight carpark.....the corners indicator will shows n beeps when you too close a wall when turning round tight curvy carparks... I dunno if my explanation is clear? Hahahaha..... use 1 and u will know lor.......lol No try dunno ......hahaha ↡ Advertisement
