Model 3 from Giga Shanghai uses CATL's LFP.

Tesla Model 3 Highland (FL) has 2 version (for time being):

1. RWD

2. Dual Motor

CATL 宁德时代 is the world biggest EV Battery manufacturer.

LFP is Lithium Ion phosphate battery which is slight different from Li-on battery.  It has lower fire risk.

Seems slicker now.

Saw one on the road last week - indeed finally a Tesla that looks nice. No more pig snout face.

Ya lor I was very surprised to see it too. But it had the "test drive" blue license plate (i.e. not registered yet)

OIC.

It is not a customer car.

I saw the display unit in Millenial Walk.  The red color is really beautiful

somehow Tesla design grows on me over time with its clean look.

@inlinesix Thanks bro for the explanation. Further more got solid state and BYD own blade battery etc.....dont know which one is the best option.

In times to come, must take the kind of battery into consideration when buying car. Likewise, i may not choose a 2.4NA Jap car as i feel the engine is dated.

Solid-state still has long way to go.

BYD blade battery also LFP battery except that it is packed in blade form rather than AA battery form.
