I have it in my phone and samsung watch.

I use phone to take public transport, and pay for purchase or food when lazy to take out wallet (or forget to bring wallet).

Previously I am quite old school..then colleague recommend me to try NFC payment via phone. Quite reluctant to try but still go for it. Well, my take is super convenient ! I use it for MRT/bus rides, food, groceries etc. Hence if I am out nearby, I din even bring the wallet.

Downside is, got to ensure your phone got enough battery power and prepare that some merchants might have system downtime so LL got to pay cash. To address this, I kiap a $50 note between my phone cover just in case, technology down..old school take over.

On MRT/bus rides, I also keep ez-link card in wallet in case internet down..I still can use ez card to go home. 😄

I finally uploaded my cc details to gpay. Cos I forgot to bring my wallet out to dabao hawker food.

But then... Using paynow or PayLah is also quite Convenient. So contact less using hp I Still haven't used.

In fact in sg. The trend is using more qr code since it's no fees.

Phone NFC does it work every time? Used to have a fitbit watch few years back but most of the time it doesn't work. Currently using samsung galaxy watch 4 and I've added my credit card inside but rarely use.

i'm frightened of nfc.

if i walked by some (hidden) machines, it might just take my money without my knowledge. 😁

I also try to use the Paylah for hawker but I find it troublesome, coz have to key in the amt, click confirm then have to show the hawker. I saw some folks input their password while login to bank app, and I can see the password while queueing behind them.😅

Yup. Work every time for me so far. Once U on board this phone NFC habit, please please be mindful not to lose your phone, plus secure ur phone with existing security like pattern or password or thumbprint or facial recognition etc .

For me, my perspective is.. I only have 1 thing to take care which is my phone coz wallet keep it at home.

me too. if I am overseas or feel not safe at crowded places, I just go to NFC icon and tap it to disable.

With iPhone, need face to unlock.

No need to key in password.
