Nautilus 2nd Gear May 22, 2019 Share May 22, 2019 Did mine with simply shine. Not the most value for money service around, my interior was not groomed and windows not coated. No maintenance touch up recoat offered too. it was only after doing that i realized other detailers are offering these extras for easily same or cheaper price. My advice is, dont waste the money.I booked them when I collected my new ride. Agreed on the price and package beforehand. Drove to their “shop” and they tried to hard sell me other add on packages. I was pissed and walked away. In the end settled for a mobile groomer who did an excellent job. Lately I discovered some DIY products online and I layered on additional coats by myself and the end results looks really good. Actually for new cars, the prep work is really simple and you can do it yourself. It’s when you’ve a car with badly damaged paintwork that you need the experts to step in. Now new car delivery already come with some kinda coating done by AD. I think they tie up with some third party to do the coating. The in thing now should be the protective film wrap which is more effective when it comes to paint protection.Apparently these films will need to be replaced every few years, if not it will adhere to the paintwork. There’s no perfect solution after all.

Usually i end up caving. One bad point about simply shine is that their locations are at hdb carparks. And sunday or PH need to pay still. My take right now is that their product works, at least for now, is very easy for me to just do simple washdown. But fact is other detailers are more comprehensive in the their services for the similar or cheaper price. Btw which diy product did u use? ↡ Advertisement
