teomingern Supercharged January 19, 2018 Share January 19, 2018 Watched some reviews... for the 2.0L NA model... same old same old... good chassis, excellent ride and steering and handling, boxer growl... but the AWD blunts the power significantly still, and fuel consumption is still not competitive... The_mark 2nd Gear January 19, 2018 Share January 19, 2018 Watched some reviews... for the 2.0L NA model... same old same old... good chassis, excellent ride and steering and handling, boxer growl... but the AWD blunts the power significantly still, and fuel consumption is still not competitive...AWD really comes in handy in heavy rain such as today. I recall in my old car, i would pee in my pants and pray hard that I dont swerve whenever I hit an unexpectedly big puddle. Now with AWD, the back of my head goes "ohh... Thats a really big and deep puddle just now. But nevermind.."

Chucky2007 Turbocharged January 20, 2018 Share January 20, 2018 anyway here is the article http://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/restrictions-on-car-servicing-repairs-and-parts-to-be-lifted-competition-watchdog don't really worry abt warranty since most AD are so specific about what is covered. can read the manual they gave you, there is a breakdown on what is covered and which part. sometimes being too specific is a double edged sword. my previous VW, also service outside after 10k, but when the gearbox ko, they still repaired it FOC within that 3yr period. Hence always keep your service records. dont flame me ok, just sharing my own experience. i also know afew colleagues that swear AD service is the best and top notch. even though sometimes their car can be stuck there for afew days because no spares and they had to order. Still they insist AD is best. Aircon lounge and free coffee is the best some say
Vidz 6th Gear January 23, 2018 Share January 23, 2018 Guess something has to give for that price point, anyway which bid did you het your COE, mine #1 was unsuccessful Good on us then for once. Beside, what’s the OMV on this, was told it’s aroumd $14000 Same as you mentioned, nothing has changed and yes, it should both Apple and android if not wrong OMV should be less than $14k, but still works out to be less than $10k dep annually. enuff said
Ivantanjh 1st Gear January 23, 2018 Share January 23, 2018 Anyone got their COE on the 1st bid with Subaru ?!!!
The_mark 2nd Gear January 23, 2018 Share January 23, 2018 I did get mine on my first bid. Booked car when COE was 49K, COE secured at 56K (they bidded 57K for me) My guess on the factors affecting their bidding strategy are as follows. 1) How hard you bargained: bargain more = less margin for them; naturally they will queue you at the end and fulfill the orders with better margins first 2) Ready stocks: Clear inventory for more cars to come in = higher chance for you to get your car earlier 3) New car model: Push for more road presence = better chances for you too Good luck! Anyone got their COE on the 1st bid with Subaru ?!!!

mycar1234 1st Gear February 10, 2018 Share February 10, 2018 maybe can knock off another $4k for trade-in and other rebates from insurance and finance...possible to buy at $94.8k...MTLSubaru sales margin extremely high, check LTA basic cost, they have a lot of room to lower down their price. Coming bidding expected to soften some more, wait for $87k, get your 2.0L Impreza at 1.6L cost ↡ Advertisement
