So far, we only mentioned about PRC tourists....

The other cheap tour groups are from India ... :slow:

Equally bad.. :pissed-off:

On board Superstar Virgo once and piew ...... [sweatdrop]  just as bad as PRC.

No queue & equally noisy, take a clean glass, drink water and later placed back the glass on the same place. Grab as many 'nan' as possible but only eat 2 pieces. Leave the rest on the table and go for other foods, same no queue & cut in just like that...  [dizzy]

Buay tahan looking at them and left with family to the on board Chinese restaurant to eat .. :lll._.:

A lot of Chinese are buying up companies overseas. Do not be surprised when the food you eat from other countries actually have china bosses who used china method to prepare and package your food :ouch-it-hurts:

Can see difference one. . Singaporean will use tong to fill up the plate with prawn but prc use the plate to scoop up the prawn directly, ...faster, better, cheaper.... Hehehhe...

Like our politician leaders said mah - Singaporeans are not hungry enough! Literally!

No matter what superb formula they will still grow up like the first post under this thread. Is the country culture/upbringing that determine a person behaviour.

Just 2 days ago I was chatting with uunty lucy'aunt. Milk power, 3 in 1 white coffee are items most sought after by the China Chinese. Apparently they buy in bulk and courier back to China. Milk power I can understand. 3 in 1 coffee? Wth.

Visited ancestral hometown in China last year. Noticed they only like certain brands of food/beverage products that I brought for them. Must be the perceived quality thru effective advertisement.

Eg...Chocolate - Ferero Roche, Cadbury, Toberone

Drinks - 3 in 1 Milo sachets

Thanks for posting this article. You can very much see how ridiculous the prices are (4x-5x of costs), and why so many people are buying up these goods lucrative like opium.

Hahaha. .. Maybe the ang mos will now export milk powder to China. . Later repeat history. . Take back hong kong for another 100 years. .

Milk Powder wars.

China, with 1.3 billion people, created a whole new market for demand of any kind of goods/services.

It will only become more scary, now that the Chinese gov't is removing the one child policy.  Very soon, they will have more Chinese babies per family household, a lot more demand for milk powder and other infant products will happen.

To give perspective of how big China market: 1.3 billion people is the total population of entire Europe (700+ million) + USA (300+ million) + Indonesia (200+ million).

This time I think the Chinese Tycoons are already buying up the cow farms in Australia and New Zealand. [laugh]

Wah cow....

Gu Wars..

Australia and new Zealand will instead be forced to sign over Tasmania and South Island to China for a hundred years. .

singapore should focus to "manufacture" what china want

1. processed and packaged food product

2. dairy product

3. medicine and dried food like abalone, mushroom, etc product

the chinese want to buy imported product from reputable country

and not china made product due to scare of fake and poor quality

just based on these 3 categories, singapore can huat until SIAO LIAO !

hk suppose to be a good choice but hk set up their factory in china shenzhen so quality and authenticity is as good as in PRC

spore quality and authenticity is [thumbsup]

yeah, actually its so true.

countries or companies can just manufacture for China market, can really go huat huat all the way.  No need to worry about the rest of the world.

3 most desirable sector of products (confirmed got high demand) to make for China market:

1. Baby/Infant

2. Education

3. Medical/Pharmaceutical
