Focal 165VR

Hi All, I came across a 2nd hand Focal 165VR selling at $250. Is this a good deal? Any reviews on this speaker?

Personally i think it's better to buy new that comes with installation and warranty. More worth it. After buying plus installation will cost u 300+. Why dun buy new?

Am using Audison Voce and it's apair of great sounding and powerful speakers.

Hi, decided to put aside the Focal 165VR pruchase.

Am now considering the Hertz HSK 165 but not sure if my HU Pioneer x5850BT is enough to power the speakers.

Or should I just stick with my current Hertz DSK 165 and add an amp.....

Your headunit can power the HSK.. but definitely not achieving it's full potential.. HSK is a good set of speakers.

Installing amp for the DSK is not so recommended, kind of a little wasted.

 

I would recommend u go with the HSK and add an amp to power it.

Understand HSK RMS is 125watts and peak is 250watts. I suppose I need an amp that gives at least 125watts to power the speakers?

Is it advisable to get a 2 channel or 4 channel amp?
