Of course not happy, AD losing their business to PI.

 

Though I think consumers should complain about the AD warranty as well. Why need to go back to AD for servicing in order to keep warranty? AD got some secret servicing technique that other workshops don't know about? Change oil at workshop and change oil at AD got difference ah?

the evolution coefficient thing seems like total BS to me, when the garmen officially saying they want to reduce CO2 averages

what is the purpose of the EC?

 

 

Also, this article is quite old. Why bring up now all of a sudden?

KM sure not happy lar... They actually can sell more old tech but more expensive hrv if not for pi who bring in vezel which literally kill off hrv market with a better spec with lower price... Not to mention sushi vs tomyam... Hehehhe..

 

Remind me of wish many years ago, only pi bring in and sell like hot cake until BM cannot tahan and bring in Thai made wish... Hehehhe...

I just came across the article. ..bring up for discussion cos it's like a case of pot calling kettle black...ie. ADs tactics being beaten by PIs

Honda HRV can go fly kite la ... muahahaha

Vezel is DOHC engine, better equipped and Made in Japan .... [thumbsup]

 

Toyota Harrier (SUV) and Estima (MPV) - these 2 are the top toyota PI models ... since donkey years liao ... now then complain? lol

You don't have to. It's just part of the package. Warranty is offered by the dealer and not manufacturer, so of course the dealer have their own terms and conditions.

 

To enjoy the warranty you have to follow their terms and conditions.

Why must change rule? Authorised Distributors can simply reduce their price to entice buyers. They have 5 digit profit margins to play with.

AD got 5 digits margin but has to maintain million dollar showroom, honour 3-5 years warranty, comply to govt regulations, etc

 

PI got 4-5 digits margin, run like cowboy town, anytime can close shop & run road, outsource warranty to cheapest 3rd party workshop, fck buyers upside down

 

AD vs PI cannot simply price war ... AD will lose 100%

PI is clay ... AD is ceramic ... cannot head-to-head

If no PI around, car buyer will be like meat on the chopping board...........

Actually for car buyer they are still meat regardless PI or AD, only diff is whether we would like to be cut up using chopper or knife...  :XD:

But i understand where the AD is coming from cuz AD usually have to follow what the manufacturer wants. So if Toyota wants to sell the MIT models in SG then AD only can sell the MIT models, but PI can sell any model that is popular. Plus they can't go into a price war with PI cuz they sure lose one.
