To all C-HR owners here, does the protruding black part of the car side door able to prevent dents from other car door opening?

From what i see, it look able too. just that i want to hear from owners view

Trust me, it does not help at all.

Wonder if anyone has tried an "OBD Speed Lock" and wonder if it would void the car warranty ?

Well, depending on how one car is parked, the sharp edge of the door will hit different points on a panel.

However, i do agree the black bump does help some times, besides being visually appealing.
